In the square behind the Jelgava Culture House, a 6.2 meters high statue dedicated Nora Bumbiere - a singer with outstanding voice. The sculptor K. Īle has brought together two songs by Nora Bumbiere - the Song about the last leaf and the Mute song.

Farm Trubenieki is shiitake mushroom grower in Latvia and offers the option for the interested people to see the farm, gather secrets of mushroom growing, taste fresh shiitake mushrooms and enjoy an excellent mushroom soup. Come to our cozy sauna in the middle of the forest. Here you can enjoy peace and tranquility, beautiful nature, and a great sauna with a really good heat. Enjoy celebrations, sports games and other events here. There is a pond next to the sauna - where you can swim and in the river Klīve you can go fishing. In summer season, there are volleyball, basketball and soccer fields available. It is a great place for walks in the forest and picking berries and mushrooms in the autumn.
For your convenience, there is a large quality barbecue and a smokehouse in the forest, where you can smoke chicken, ribs, fish, etc.
Gourmet lovers! Next to the sauna, you can make exceptional dishes on fire, in the cast iron pot. The housekeeper will be happy to share with you recipes and give you some useful tips to make your stew, pilaw or soup come out fabulously delicious.
Café – the confectionery shop sells cakes, pastries, pretzels and other snacks. Coffee and tea are always available. During summer, we offer homemade ice cream.

On November 17, 1919, a battle with the Bermondites took place at the former Skuju Elementary School, in which the 6th infantry regiment lost 16 soldiers. In 1922, Colonel Mucenieks installed a 3.5-meter-high wooden obelisk with the names of the 16 soldiers by the higway between Jelgava-Riga next to Skuju School.
On October 24, 1937, a new monument was created by Nikolajs Voits, and the bas-relief by the sculptor Mārtiņš Šmalcs, according to the instructions of his teacher - Professor Kārlis Zāle. In 2009, the monument was restored with the support of the Municipality of Ozolnieki and the Cultural Capital Foundation.

The Territory of Zoo Lauku sēta is a place to enjoy quiet and peaceful walks, visit animals living and grazing in the meadows. Animal feeding is prohibited.
