Ticket sales have begun for the 20th International Sand Sculpture Festival, who may 23 Pasta Island in Jelgava will celebrate its anniversary. This year, the event will feature a particularly extensive program—impressive sand sculptures, a variety of activities for families, and a spectacular evening concert program at the “Mītava” open-air concert hall.

We invite you to hear the stories of sculptures in Jelgava city! Sculptures have long since found their place in the urban environment of Jelgava – thanks to metal art and ceramics symposiums, different events that have taken place in the city and as donations to the city. Each sculpture has its own story, which this route will allow you to reveal and feel! The total length of the route is around 15 km and it may be tackled both by bicycle and on foot. Duration of the route may take up to 3 hours. Get to know Jelgava and its stories through different sculptures of the city!
